It’s a slow Monday here at Illicit. I’m snowed in and unable to step outside my door. While March is known to come in like a lion, I wish it would bring summer squalls instead of sub-zero temperatures. Let's take a look at this week's crop of headlines.

Causing the biggest media outburst since a certain street artist’s untimely Boston arrest, Edgar Müller and his team create optical illusions on the streets of Dún Laoghaire, Ireland, and Geldern, Germany. The Telegraph, Tulsa’s KRMG,San Francisco’s io9, Sky News, and Gawker are freaking out about his lava flows and cavernous crevasses.

Poster Boy sent New York City’s MTA into an apoplectic fit over his MOMA campaign revisions.

Miami graffiti artist Typoe discusses his solo show in the city’s Spinello Gallery. The show is appropriately titled “I Want Typoe So Effin Bad.”

At first glance, New York City’s “Falling Man” may make you want to call 911 (inspired by Don De Lillo, perhaps?). But owner Craig A. Kraft insists he’s just for decorations; he even lights up at night!

Parisian street legend Jef Aersol sent me a note about his latest exhibit, “Highs and Lows,” which runs from March 12 to April 18 at Raison d’Art. If you’re in Paris on the 12^th, stop by between 6:30 pm and 9 pm for the opening reception.
